Thanks to Marilyn Geiger and some of the 6th graders, the Yestermorrow Outdoor Classroom Structure is prepared to meet the winter. And thanks to the PTO for making a donation to the 6th Grade Montreal trip fund for their efforts.
Students have been working on writing a story from the perspective of a Red Blood Cell traveling through the circulatory system or a Food Particle traveling through the digestive system or a Nerve Impulse traveling through the nervous system. There has been an emphasis on writing dialogue for the piece of writing, along with accurate content. Here is a presentation that has very basic rules to follow for this writing skill.
